Tee-off at Slammer & Squire GC
Warm up at the extensive practice facilities
Tee-time at 1:00 pm
The Slammer & Squire course is located in the heart of World Golf Village and is one of St. Augustine Florida’s favorite golf courses.
This 18-hole, 6,939-yard course was designed by architect Bobby Weed along with World Golf Hall of Fame Members, Sam Snead (the “Slammer”) and Gene Sarazen,(the “Squire”). The three men shared a desire to build a golf course that would preserve the area’s natural beauty and reward good shot making….and that’s just what they did. This well-groomed course showcases the pristine, unspoiled wooded areas, wetlands and natural beauty of the region. It is relatively wide open with several contoured greens and impressive views of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
You’ll discover a layout that places an emphasis on the short game which was reflective of the finesse game that made the “Slammer” and “Squire” legends.
It features several water hazards; but the picturesque views of the World Golf Hall of Fame will definitely overshadow any challenges you may face. In fact, you can almost hear the voices of legends rooting you on as you make your way to the 18th green.
The course was the host site of the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, a Senior PGA TOUR event and hosted an array of other golf events such as the LPGA Senior Tour’s Handa Cup from 2006 to 2009 and most recently the ANNIKA Invitational USA.

Tee-off at St. Johns Golf & Country Club
One of the most popular courses in North-East Florida!
St. Johns Golf & Country Club is an excellent course located between St. Augustine and Jacksonville. The 18-hole Clyde Johnston-designed course provides just the right amount of challenge for novice and avid golfers alike.
A great place to hone your skills, St. Johns is particularly known for its consistent quality of service and conditions, being nationally ranked for customer satisfaction and loyalty by the National Golf Foundation, and host to the PGA TOUR Qualifying School in 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Delicately carved out of a pine forest, the course at St. Johns offers five sets of tees plus a family tee that varies the length of the course from 7,250 yards down to 2,400 yards. Depending on wind conditions, the 18 hole course can be gentle or a real bear, so take your time to enjoy the game while natural wildlife surrounds you during your round.

It offers six sets of tees for golfers of every ability with the “family” tee leading the way for the birth of new golfers. The now family owned and operated club has earned itself on a strong reputation of offering great golf course conditions and a friendly, personable staff.
TUESDAY Mar 17
PLAY AT KING & BEAR GC
Morning tee-time

Masterpiece by Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Plamer (codesign)
The only collaboration between golf’s greatest legends, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus is set among pristine lakes, beautiful loblolly pines, and stately oak trees. Each hole contains design characteristics of both players to create a unique layout.
Palmer earned the nickname “The King” during his playing career, while Nicklaus adopted the “Golden Bear” moniker.
The two World Golf Hall of Fame members, both inducted in the inaugural class in 1974, put the spotlight on their decades-old friendship, rather than their storied rivalry, to create the co-design. King & Bear stands as a representation of their shared love of golf course design. These two legends of the game put their heads together and the resulting golf course is beautiful, challenging, and remarkable.
Measuring 7,279 yards from the back tees and 5,119 yards from the forward tees, the course is sure to challenge avid golfers while providing player-friendly conditions for beginners. The layout puts a premium on driving, which should come as no surprise as both Palmer and Nicklaus were known for their power at the height of their playing careers. Golfers will also experience Nicklaus’ inviting fairways and Palmer’s fast greens.
So enamored was Palmer with the course he helped design, he selected King & Bear’s hole No. 15 as one of his “Dream 18” in Sports Illustrated’s Preview to The Ryder Cup 2006. King & Bear also was named to Golf Digest’s list of the Top Public Courses in Florida in 2015. The layout was selected to Golf Magazine’s 2016–2017 list of the Best Courses You Can Play in Florida.
Since its inception in 2000, King & Bear has hosted the Legends of Golf, a PGA TOUR Champions event; the Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf match between Palmer and Nicklaus; and Qualifying Schools for the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions.
